There are places in this world where one cannot enjoy the simple pleasures delivered unto us by Xbox Live. How will they be able to fully enjoy Kinect without the ability to chat over webcam? Now, nine more countries can join in the party, as Microsoft has announced that Brazil, Chile, Colombia, the Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Russia and South Africa will be getting their console's online service.
I assume that most of those countries will be very happy come this holiday season when Live hits their shores. I'm guessing Microsoft will be very happy, too, because that's more money in their pockets.
On a semi-related note, Australians will be able to watch live television and a range of video-on-demand programming on Xbox Live from satellite and cable TV provider FOXTEL. The US, on the other hand, did not get even a hint of Hulu support for the 360. Thankfully, this is made up for by games not getting banned and ESPN.
