E3 10: Tron: Evolution Wii impressions
Husky and I stopped by the Disney booth to check out Tron: Evolution. As a huge fan of the original film, I remain cautiously optimistic about all this new Tron stuff; both the movie and the games. After playing the game, I'm a little more optimistic, but still cautious. I actually got to play the 360/PS3 version of the game first, but for whatever reason, we can't seem to that video uploaded, so for now, you're stuck with the Wii version. If you find this game interesting, then check out the Destructoid review of Art Style: light trax. It's one to grow on. Did you know? Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)The characters look a bit lame but the gameplay is interesting!
Also I just wanted to say, Daniel and Jonathan, your videos are always one of the highlights of each E3. Keep 'em coming! You know what? I think it's time I actually watched Tron for the firs time, and then I can understand what all the excitement for this new stuff is about. :P I've been waiting to see SOMETHING on the Wii version of Tron Evolution. I didn't even KNOW there was a Wii version until I heard about it at E3, and I'd been wanting someone to do something on it since then. Thanks! I think the idea of a "sort of" tactical racer sound like an interesting idea, and I agree with the motion controls for driving (they just feel good). This looked a little loose, though, compared to the Excite games and Mario Kart. Still, I'm keeping my eye on it. I saw the HD version played earlier, and in many ways it seems (to me) to take a lot from Prince of Persia (the running parts, at least). Not that that's a bad thing, but it doesn't look like it does much "new" yet. 6:00 AM on 05.10.2013 Disney Infinity's Pirates of the Caribbean gets shown offConfession time: I'm super giddy for Disney Infinity. I love the concept, and I actually want to waste money on a bunch of dumb toys. That's of course if they bring in classic Disney stuff. I'm talking about things like Duck...
