as much as I love the 3ds so far, when you mentioned the analog slider, it hit me like a sack of bricks. its only got one. hopefully it doesn't come back to haunt.
An RE4/5 style game on 3DS would make me very happy. Also, if those are the in-game graphics I am very impressed.

Hey guys. Figured I wouldn't waste time in the post introducing myself, as I know everyone's eager to get their E3 news. I'm Crystal (obviously), and I'm an intern over at Japanator. I'm currently helping out Dtoid while the E3 load is heavy. That, and I love the vidya.
Looks awesome and according to Joystiqs hands-on the visuals of RE:Revelations are more in line with RE5 than RE4, so that's encouraging to hear. Obviously the graphics aren't going to be at 360/PS4 level, but its pretty damn close, from what we have seen so far. Definitely a step up from Wii and it leaves the PSP in the dust!

This looks pretty damn good for a DS game but where's my PSP RE they promised us?!
I gotta admit, the 3DS is looking pretty sweet. I owned a DS for a few months and played the thing a total of like 3 hours. It just wasn't for me. All I played was Tetris and Viewtiful Joe. Not that the games were bad just not great enough to steal my time from my other consoles. 3DS is looking mighty sharp though. I'm gonna watch out for this thing.

You realize the 3ds is the next generation of handhelds from nintendo and not a different version like the dsi right?
Anyway, those are some really impressive graphics, especially when you consider that this is a launch title.

There is some other random sites that have a close up of the Girl's face. And in it you can clearly tell it is Jill and not Claire. It pretty much looks like RE5 DLC Jill without the hat.

Call me skeptical but I need to see some real footage of someone actually playing these games to make a call. It just seems so unreal.
@fetusmilk WHY are you saying wii and ps2 in the same sentence????? If gamecube was more powerful than ps2 (see: RE4 comparison), and wii is twice as powerful as gamecube, there should be no comparison of wii to ps2.
But it definitely looks as good as, if not better, than wii- an amazing achievement for a handheld.
BTW is the rumor true that the screen is HD - capable on the 3DS?
(for those of you who use HD and better graphics interchangeably, HD just means it has a much higher number of pixels than standard def...)
