Here's the new Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 trailer. It's got the news your body craves. The bad news is, still no Phoenix Wright. The good news is, there is a hint of some story, and Deadpool and Dante both look great. The game's "comic-shader"-style is obviously appropriate for Marvel's Deadpool, and Dante looks just like he did in Viewtiful Joe, but with a normal sized head.
We knew that Dante and Deadpool were likely entries for Marvel Vs. Capcom 3's roster, but there's something special about seeing them show up in a legitimate trailer. It takes me back to a time long ago when I first saw fake-screenshots of Dante in fake-Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 all those years ago. Fake-ness becomes reality. It's a beautiful thing.
Hopefully I'll get some more info on the game's reportedly +30 character roster in a few days at E3.

As insane as people are going over Deadpool, I'm going the opposite way with Dante. I can almost honestly say I don't even care who else is in the game, DANTE IS IN A FIGHTING GAME.
And it looks like DMC4 Dante, so he's got the experience and he ain't fucking around.
Yay Wade! It hadn't dawned on me before how similar DP and Dante's styles were.
The only problem with crossovers like this is that the story is almost always the same. Something Evil mushes two different IPs together and the popular characters have to punch somebody hard enough to separate them. I mean, it works, but I'll be surprised if it winds up being something different.
Anyway, the matchup between Dante and Deadpool is pretty awesome, weird that it never registered to me when I saw they were both in it. Either way, tight trailer.
Hell yeah! And yeah, I'm with team Deadpool on this one. Hilarious in hindsight though, how similar their fighting style and personalities are. Both enjoy dual wielding guns a lot, both use swords a lot despite having access to guns, and both have a sense of humor (though DP's is better).
There are very few people that Dante would not rape in a fight. Deadpool is not one of them. Dante does things in his games that would make Deadpool soil his underwear.
Honestly, how can you pick anyone over a guy with insane weaponry, a smart-ass and funny attitude, as well as a healing factor. Dante would shoot Deadpool and get nowhere!! I'm easily on board with team Deadpool. It ain't even a challenge here!

Both of these characters were confirmed in issue 206 of game informer. The scans have been available for a while now.
Now if only they can put in Haggar and Phoenix Wright...
