(albeit most of their stuff was 3DS awesomeness instead of wii awesomeness but you dont hear me complaining)
thats too bad, since i really wanted to see some last guardian action, one of the most boring E3 ive seen, that is of course my humble opinion
the zelda shenanigans looks good though, but the world is too bloody picturesque for my taste
With regard to the controls, I didn't see the presentation, but perhaps this is why the title is getting pushed back to next year. I would be shocked if Miyamoto allowed this to be released if it wasn't practically perfect.
I just wish we got more details on the story, since I'm really curious about that.
i mean, it just looks dull from my point of view
Also the enemies and graphics look worse than Z:TP, man sorry to be a downer I want to be pumped for this, but I just feel underwhelmed.
Like someone above me said, if it weren't for looking at Link's back the whole time, I would have never known it was a Zelda game. And had this been a trailer for a non-Zelda game, I have a feeling not many people in here would be excited at all after that trailer...
Just my opinion, of course.
" I really dug the visual style during the CGI (?) shots of Link, but the gameplay itself just looked incredibly bland. "
Well said, that's what I was getting at.
Personally I'm glade they went for mostly ingame stuff rather then all the CGI rubbish so many companies are coming out with... instead of what the actual game is about
but thats just me, I prefer to judge games via deeper depth rather then just 'looks bland'
I really like the art style and its resemblance to The Wind Waker. By the way, peole should know that unlike in the past, Nintendo decided to reverse development order with Skyward Sword by crafting the game design first before the graphics and cut scenes.Obviously, they need more time to polish the visuals and complete the cut scenes.
Which makes this Ocarina of Time 3, and...honestly, I've played Ocarina of Time a lot. I need something that won't feel stale in here. The wolf sections helped Twilight Princess, but...I'm not seeing an equivalent yet.

That lines up with the cut scenes vs. game play mechanic visual difference. I really really hope your right, because it would be disappointing if thats not the case.
I was really hoping for a follow on to TP, but I agree that this look is just perfect for the series.
Well done Nintendo, well done.
