One of my favorite experiences at E3 was when I got to sit down and play Fallout 3 for about an hour in a press only room. It was a glorious time and they had set it up so you got the full Fallout aesthetic experience, which is one of the things the game truly nails. If the above trailer tells us anything it's that that great aesthetic is returning.
Also, guns and shooting people are returning too. I know you were worried that New Vegas was going to be a dating sim, but one look at the trailer and you can tell it's clearly not. It's also got Kay Kyser's "Jingle Jangle Jingle," which was the No. 1 hit for eight weeks in 1942, playing over the whole thing. I'd like to pretend I'm cool enough to pull that information out of my ass, but I definitely did not.

Already bought on Steam :D, Cant wait. They really dont have to do anything new for me. I mean, how can you mess up the Fallout 3 formula at this point? Unless they do something Gamebreaking they really cant. Give us a decent story and new environments with alot to do. Could be simple chores such as fetch missions, lord knows almost all of us would buy it lol
@comrade. I really liked fallout on the first play through so I got them all at once but had to start a new game and didn't make it out of the vault on the second try.
But yea. I might be retarded cuz I'll dl almost anything for the 60 something games I own even though I really only play about 3 of em.

Looks like more Fallout, but I've loved every Fallout game I've played so far (Besides Tactics) so I'm sure I'll enjoy this one as well. Think I may pre-order the special edition as well. Hoorah!
Man, even if this game comes loaded with Obsidian jankiness, it'll be an absolute blast. I absolutely love the style/mechanics of Fallout 3, and more of that can only be a good thing.
It looks like it's going to be as exciting as the first game. My only concern is that they don't copy/paste too much from the original, in terms of characters and equipment. Keep it fresh and surprising.
OMG!!!, hear that Betsy, dam going to have to move from DC to Vegas now. :) I have to say that I have been an avid fan of Fallout since the original came out some 12 years ago, and I am glad to see a series that has long out lived other series that died out too quickly or were ahead of their time. Fallout New Vegas will surely be loaded onto my drive when it comes out. (Time to Nut up Or Shut up.).
