We've tallied the votes, talked to the horses, smelled the flowers, and received all the checks under the table. After two days of rigorous (haha!) video gaming, Destructoid now proudly announces its picks for E3 Game of the Show -- the few games that actually got our cynical staff all hot and bothered. In no particular order, congratulations to the teams responsible for these eleven games:
- Portal 2
- Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds
- PixelJunk Shooter 2
- Disney Epic Mickey
- XCOM
- The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
- Bulletstorm
- Gears of War 3
- LittleBigPlanet 2
- Rock Band 3
- Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
We'd also like to recognize PixelJunk Shooter 2 as the sleeper hit of the show -- it's buried somewhere in the Sony area and isn't getting the attention it deserves. If you're at E3, definitely give it a look.
On Friday, we'll announce our winner, and we're curious what our readers think about which title most deserves it. Which game would you vote for?

Contest:
I'd have to say, of those, I was most impressed by Bulletstorm. It's something refreshing, methinks.
But my bet is that Destructoid will vote Portal 2 as the game of the conference.
MVC3 definitely deserves game of show. It looks absolutely amazing.
I knew the second Warren Spector was doing it would be one of the most interesting concepts ever. And it is.
Metroid: Other M and Halo: Reach should be there too, but I guess it's because they were announced on last year's E3.
They're all pretty good. I probably wouldn't vote for Epic Mickey just because I've seen so little.
I don't expect any game of the show nominations... but it looked pretty interesting and I'd like to see some hands on impression/more info if it's knocking about.
Also Rayman Origins.
I'm sorry Portal 2, but you don't have Hyper Combos.

Bulletstorm also looked great from an arcadey perspective, a great game to play for an hour or two for some amazing wtf moments. I wish there was more to show about Enslaved, it looks like a great game in the Prince of Persia mold
Out of your picks? Portal 2 and LittleBigPlanet 2.
That said, until you amend this very obvious error because Kirby's Epic Yarn was the complete highlight of the show, I'll go with Portal 2. Looks fantastic.
And Paper Mario DS.
I really think there should be at least one 3DS game on the list, because glasses-free 3D stole the show for me.
