Everyone's favorite funbag-focused fighting series is coming to 3DS soon. Dead or Alive 3D will be the first major release (discounting PSP spin-off Dead or Alive Paradise) since series creator Tomonobu Itagaki left developer Team Ninja in 2008 with a bunch of staff in tow.
There is no gameplay shown so far, so it's hard to tell if the series mechanics will be retained in portable format, but it's probably safe to say that the game will feature the requisite jiggle and bounce expected from new installments. I'm just waiting to see the "creative" use of 3D on the series' shameless ladies.

Eternal Darkness was published by Nintendo EIGHT years ago, less one week.

Oh god... Dueling Analogs' joke just came true.
Either way, I'm sold. DOA was the second fighting game and the first 3D fighting game I ever played, way back in the arcades. I bought a PS2 primarily for DOA2:HC, an Xbox for DOA3 and a 360 for DOA4. Looks like I'll be buying a 3DS now.
