Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally hope this lives up to the hype. If so, it could be the first handheld console I've bought since the original Gameboy.
I feel sorry for the girls. It's chained to their belts by what appeared to be a padlock. What about the bathrooms? What about creepers? And besides, couldn't they just take off the belt?
Nintendo absolutely crushed it this morning. The 3DS presentation was also incredibly enticing; in large part, I think, due to the excellent third-party support that they advertised (Kojima/MGS, Square, Capcom/Resident Evil, etc).
God, assuming the press doesn't pan it after trying it out at E3, I will be pre-ordering this sucker the second it's available. The Kid Icarus game looked amazing, and I'm all about a fully 3D Kingdom Hearts.
However, two questions remain unanswered that Nintendo deliberately skipped around: when it is coming out, and how much will it cost?

If the graphics have improved that much, I'm really hoping for the transition of old N64 games to this.

Can't wait to see what Dtoid thinks about hands-on 3DS! Glad they kept 3DS even though it was a "code name."
Did they just say that they were the first to introduce an analog slider? Or was I misunderstanding what they were talking about. PSP has a slider. Is the sticks on both systems not the same thing?
I'm really, really liking this!! It's funny how different of a reception it is receiving compared to our first look at the original DS.

Looks good, and considering the game lineup we seem to be getting, it's looking even better. Really, all I need to see at this point is the price and the specific games Atlus will be releasing on it to decide whether I purchase it at launch or simply wait a month or two.
why would kid icarus make you want to buy this thing. I think the system is sweet and do want but what about icarus is appealing? The game they showed did absolutely nothing for me.
WOW! Just... WOW!!! It's gonna be hard to top that press conference. 3DS already looks to have a killer line-up, and I could have cried when I saw Kid Icarus appear. It's gonna be torture waiting for all this great stuff.
While im impressed with the 3ds and I plan on getting one, didn't some developer say its as powerful as the xbox or something? Because from what I'm seeing it doesn't look like it. Everyone is high on the koolaid right now, but I was wondering about that from the moment I saw the Ikarus trailer.
