So there's this game called Woman's Murder Club.  Aside from this title being based on a James Patterson something or other that I've never ever heard of, the trailer is now ready for watching.

Why am I writing about Woman's Murder Club?  Because it's called Woman's Murder Club! And GameTrailers has the video up and Hamza asked me to.

Apparently the game is more of a murder mystery adventure than a bunch of women running around killing people willy-nilly. But whatever, it's called Woman's Murder Club.

And here I was thinking this had something to do with the Japanese porn-game fiasco. Talk about disappointing.

Why did they even show this game at E3? It's so...stupid.

I love how they just trotted out the rediculously dubious name in the conference without any thought that it might be misinterpreted.

I knew the babysitters club was just a cover.

Voice over and music are far more epic than it should be.

Probably for all the fans of the canceled TV Series (actually was quite good, with a dark serial killer backstory that impacted the main characters) and the fact that the books supposedly play good with both men and women.

Having watched the TV adaptation, I would have to say that the music is SOOOOOOO wrong...

and the DS is probably the wrong market to go for anyway, but it is probably just set up as a casual game collection in a murder mystery.

yawn.

How disappointing. I thought it was "Women Murder Club" as in "a club where women murder each other/gang up and decide to kill off non-members".

They have a good few of these mystery games on ds in japan. I hope this one does well with the casual crowd, because maybe it will convince someone to release Tecmo's Nishimura Mystery adventure games series.

It's clear DS does these games well, and there's already a Hotel Dusk sequel on the way to DS.

Despite the lame name based on a tv series, I'd give it a go, if its any good.

That's sexist. Women would be so up in arms if there were a Men's Murder Club!
