E3 09: Twitter and Facebook coming to Xbox Live photo

Say what? You heard that right. As announced at Microsoft's E3 press conference, Internet fad and celebrity-endorsed ego-boosting tool Twitter is coming to Xbox Live. Now you need not stop your gaming in order to tell all fifteen of your followers that you're eating a sandwich. Xbox Live is going to do it for you, son!

As if that wasn't enough social networking for you, Twitter is being joined by Facebook. It appears that Avatars may have something to do with it, but we'll have to wait and find out more. Twitter and Facebook are both coming to XBL this Fall. In the meantime, hit up our MS presser liveblog!

As long as they don't make it as testicular torturingly mandatory as Avatars, I understand Microsoft wanting to muscle in on the Casual gamers, but do they have to alienate actual gamers?

@lyfeforce, that's what I've been wondering. How much hard drive space is all of this stuff going to eat up before they just add a fucking browser already.

I stopped using twitter after a bout a month, and all I can is kind of like Lyfeforce.

PS3 already has a browser, so you can just get to Facebook/Twitter from there.

I still find it odd Microsoft of all companies haven't got a web browser on there consoles considering they are a PC company thingy :P
