To me, Mylo, the painting wall, and the putting items in the game world with the camera/motion sensing is as much like a game as Poker is really a sport. Just because someone says it is, doesn't really make it so. I'll stick to Mass Effect 2 (WTF with not showing that here?), APB, and Alan Wake (not as impressed by it as Nick & Chad, will see when I get home to watch it on DVR of G4 coverage).
Well all in all that was a pretty good show, when are Sony + Nintendo's anyone? Glad for the time difference for a change, get to watch and not be at work. First year I've seen a conference and I enjoyed it for the most part - except for the constant little clapping and general cheesiness but hey can't have it all :P

What Peter Molyneux showed off was very impressive. It's perhaps the final step before we get into Holo-Gaming. But you know...Considering a good chunk of the gaming community are blood thirsty savages I wonder if this means we will have people enacting murder in their living rooms as they play some hyper-violent video game?
That was pretty mind-blowing, but I will never give up playing games with a controller. People play games in part to do things they can't do in real life...if you have to play games by doing your own movements, you're limited to your own physical abilities, just like in the real world.

All in all MS had a good conference, nothing really groundbraking ( there mostly just sequels or stuff we all figured out a while ago)but a good conference, but they really didn't bring any new to the table or make that big push I was looking for but they did try to innovate( guess the pshycic was right).

I have a feeling Milo will be like Fable... if you know what i mean... Otherwise that motion controller thing is primed to bump the Wii for # 1 spot, especially since it's the 360 is the "cheapest" of the three consoles.
I Love, me some Nintendo but you can't help but see it as Karma, for all the "extra accessory" shenanigans Nintendo has been up to lately (Wii wheels and boards and add-ons' and etc. I actually like the gun harness thingy though so I won't knock it.), and if Milo works the way it's advertised (which it won't; I'm sorry but Peter is promising too much all over again) then Nintendo will have to whip out a Wii 2 and remind why "we need a wii-mote," which is still a practical device, sans accessories.
I'm always in love with Nintendo, but MS has colored me impressed.
