And the winner for worst headline of all time? Chad Concelmo for his “LEGO Harry Potter teaser post” two seconds ago! Thank you, thank you so much everyone. I would like to thank the Academy, of course. Also my friends at Destructoid and my family. Oh, and also Jesus. Thanks, JC!
In all seriousness, though: just after LEGO Harry Potter was officially announced this morning, a pretty cool teaser trailer for the 2010 game landed in our Inbox. You can check it out after the jump.
As the self-proclaimed biggest Harry Potter fan on staff -- as well as a secret worshipper of the surprisingly addictive LEGO games -- I could not be more excited about this announcement. Combining Harry Potter with LEGO is like combining an ice cream sandwich with a really cute puppy. Actually, that was a horrible analogy. Let’s just say I can’t wait for this game!
What do you think? Does this trailer get you pumped for the boy wizard's LEGO videogame treatment?

Years 1-4, eh? The LEGO version of the graveyard scene should be interesting. Play it straight, or be cute and have Wormtail pull his hand out of his socket, toss it in the pot, and then assemble Voldemort brick-by-brick? Wonder if Rowling will be involved in any capacity beyond royalty checks.
SEMI-RELATED NOTE: At least this won't be fully voiced, because in my opinion, Richard Harris is Dumbledore and I don't like Gambon's Dumbledore :(
I'm with you Chad, quite partial to a bit of Potter and the Lego games myself.
My missus kept telling me to read them and for ages I politely told her to fuck off, eventually caved and I've read them all a few times now. As for The Star Wars games I just like them for the fun and humour (like I'm looking forward to Mini Ninjas)and it's nice to have a break from a serious RPG, FPS etc
No doubt be hearing a few choruses of they are both for kids etc but I don't really give a rats ass. Although would be nice if they stuck to books rather than films which suck quite a bit although they are getting better as they go on I'll admit
"(The Savoy Hotel in London)'s most famous permanent resident was Richard Harris, who lived there while in London. Hotel archivist Susan Scott recounts an anecdote that when he was being taken out of the building on a stretcher shortly before his death he raised his hand and told the diners "it was the food". "

Hmm I'm on the opposite side of the fence than you but my missus thinks Harris' Dumbledore was how she imagined him.
BWAHAHAHAHAHA! XD
