Halo: Reach spotted on Microsoft's official Xbox page photo

Earlier this weekend Bungie dot com crawlers found an unusual message board tab for a game no-one knew anything about, Halo: Reach. Bungie and Microsoft, understandably, haven’t commented on the game’s existence. But now we have just a bit more proof of the game’s existence.

Xbox 360 Achievements found a largely blank page for Halo: Reach on Microsoft’s official Xbox Web site -- no Achievements, no release date and certainly no game information. In other words, we only know it exists and chances are we’ll hear more about it very soon at Microsoft’s E3 press conference.

Halo: Reach could be a prequel to the Halo games. The first Halo book, Halo: The Fall of Reach, followed the early story of Master Chief and the SPARTAN II program.

Yeah, because the brand new 360 exclusives we've all been craving for was more Halo!

Dear god, hope it's just a book...

Lol, you guys are really funny. Like I said before, as long as Halo Kart never gets released, I'm fine with it. Looking forward to the announcement.

And dudes, they're bound to announce more exclusives than just Halo. Not to mention that you all KNEW this was coming (Four Halo games in development, anyone remember that?), so complaining about it isn't going to help shit.

Sorry if I offend you, but I'm sick of people complaining about Halo when they KNOW more games are coming. There isn't anything you can do about it, so stop complaining! I swear, next year it's Killzone or GoW, etc.

I was thinking the other day that in the story of Reach, there is a LOT of potential for some really powerful storytelling and stuff.

Buuut... I doubt it'll have any of that.

Halo has barely been raped, some franchises are still going that are way more in need of a bullet to the head.

This game could be good, whatever it is. The Halo universe has a lot to offer.

(Only yesterday I was putting this down as a silly rumour..)

I don't understand why people who don't enjoy a particular game/system/franchise can't just say, "Oh, interesting, but that's not really my thing."

That said, I have enjoyed every Halo game thus far, and my Master Chief Kubricks and I look forward to the continued rape of the franchise.

Halo Kart? Yes please.

Seriously, I'm with yutt. If you don't like Halo, fine, don't buy it.

The only Halo game that I truly dislike is the Halo Wars game. I have no idea what you guys are bitching about. Is it the games you don't like or is it the books, toys, or other mechandises? Now I hope Halo: Reach will make millions so as to piss off all you naysayers.

Hell yeah, Halo. The Reach story has so much potential. I can't wait.
