Sure, I’m mostly looking forward to the surprises of E3 (and from what I hear, there will be many). But the simple fact that Brütal Legend will be at the show in some form or another is enough to get me out of bed and off to the convention center when it opens up tomorrow.

Electronic Arts have already dished out a new batch of screens, many of them with a focus on the game’s vehicles – you can see Rat Fink-inspired buses and choppers, each one more brutal than the next. Also, that's one big f**king spider, man. One could guess these images are taken from the E3 demo of the title, one that I hope will be playable at the show this week. I’ve already had a chance to see the game in action; now it’s time to take it up a half step with some hands on.

The marketing push for Brütal Legend at E3 is already obvious in things like the huge banner on the front of the convention center, or the neat Twitter tie-in Double Fine’s Tim Schafer is getting down with. We expect to be hearing a lot more about it over the next few days.
