E3 09: Dynasty Warriors Chibis acquired! photo

Just before E3, I threw a temper tantrum concerning the lack of Dynasty Warriors Chibis in my life, and threatened to punch someone at the Koei booth and then take everything. Since my punching threats tend to come true, Koei took me seriously. Way seriously.

As you can see, I now have in my clammy hands the first volume of Dynasty Warriors Chibis, and they are absolutely amazing. Easily the best swag I've ever had. Looking at them, I'm thinking that a Dynasty Warriors game should actually be based on these things. I really want to take control of a big-headed, atrophied little Zhang He of cuteness. It would be the greatest game ever developed.

So, this E3 was a rousing success.  Maybe next year I can swindle Koei out of Volume 2!

I want to write something like "KAWAIII ^______^", but my manliness prevents me from doing so.

As such I will merely state that they look cool. And kawaii. And all that.

Ha, it's as if the camera is so disinterested in the figures that it'd rather focus on the advertisements for pizza.

Let me add I'd like a cuter Dynasty Warriors that isn't rubbish. :-)

That'd be an adorably violent game, filled with lots of adorable, faceless soldiers being slaughtered. They would almost look like children, meaning we're that much closer to to a child slaughtering game.

Also, I noticed your DS Lite is still trapped in the header image.

Yeah, it's certainly no Samurai Warriors...so fair enough. Can't get too picky with your Koei games, though.

Awesome. But I think you need to invest in a better camera, Jim.

I would have these already if it wasn't for their $60 price tag.

And so it was, that Jim Sterling devolved into a squeeing fangirl. Beware, Jim. It's a short step from getting Chibis as swag and shelling out half your paycheck for a lovingly detailed two-foot statue of Lu Bu.
