E3 09: Crackdown 2 has co-op for four photo

True story: After watching yesterday's Crackdown 2 reveal trailer, I punched a guy in the face per Chad's request. With so many wonderful games being presented at E3, it's difficult to rank my most anticipated, but this Ruffian Games-developed sequel is definitely high up there for me.

The ever-watchful eyes of Joystiq caught what appears to be the first, albeit basic details on Crackdown 2's multiplayer thanks to an Xbox.com page for the game. As hinted at in the trailer, there will be co-op support for four players, and an unknown multiplayer mode (or modes) for up to 16 players.

You know you are way too excited for a game when something as little as that can have you jumping up and down in your seat. I love you, E3.

I can't believe that I have friends who don't like Crackdown. This better win them over!

YES PLEASE. I like InFamous and will probably like Prototype, but I already would pick Crackdown 2 over it.

But is there split-screen? Developers need to quit getting rid of that.

I came buckets, and just came buckets again. 2 days into E3, I need more buckets.

I hope they can give us a time frame for release.
