E3 09: Come catch this live demo of The Beatles: Rock Band photo
#E3

If you've ever longed to see Harmonix give a live demonstration of The Beatles: Rock Band and the song "Day Tripper" during a Microsoft E3 press conference, today is so your day. That exact scene took place earlier today, as did an appearance by Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.

Let me level with you guys here -- I have, and probably never will, have any intention of buying The Beatles: Rock Band. But after the game's showing today, I've committed myself to the idea that I will make one of my friends purchase the game, and then rightfully mooch off of him.

Why the change of heart? Three part harmonies, man. There's no escaping them.

Wow, I knew the game featured multi-part harmonies but I really didn't realize how much equipment you'd need to support a full band until now. Still, it looks like mad fun (yeah, I'm biased).

I love how the game has its own look, too!
