E3 08: Tomb Raider: Underworld coming out this November [Update] photo
     PS3

After nothing but just screenshots, we finally have the first video footage of Tomb Raider: Underworld. The video starts off with Lara swimming underwater fighting against some sharks. She then makes her way to an ancient doorway/puzzle that she needs to figure out to continue on with the level. Lara eventually makes her way to a cave where she starts climbing her way up all while avoiding a giant squid.

The video ends just before Lara makes her way to a spiked weapon hanging right above the giant squid. Calamari, anyone? Hit the jump to check out the first ever Tomb Raider: Underworld footage.

Eidos also announced today that the game will be coming out shortly before Thanksgiving. It'll be out in America on November 18th and November 21st in Europe for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, DS and PC.

[Update: Looks like GameTrailers blew their load too early and took down the debut video. It should be popping back up with the next couple of days.]

[Thanks, atheistium!]

Glares
Grumbles

Anyway. How come she doesn't have swim fins on? Seems a bit odd to have a full set of SCUBA gear on and be barefoot.
