E3 08: Sega Blowout: Empire: Total War

As I’ve mentioned before I’m a big fan of The Creative Assembly’s Total War series; heck, I still fire up Rome: Total War on a pretty regular basis. This is why I was pretty excited to see some more of the latest in the series, Empire: Total War.

There might not be nearly as many screens here as there were in some of Sega’s other releases, but everything that’s here is looking pretty good. The shots of navel combat especially caught my attention. It looks like ship-to-ship combat is going to be a lot more involved then it was in past titles, which is one area I’m glad to see them addressing.

Are these shots getting any fellow strategy junkies excited for the next Total War installment?

Oh.....My.... God...
I thought I was happy when medieval 2 came out, but god... theres just something about that great gunpowder age that gets me all excited in ways that no man should.

The total war series is the best stratagy series out there but I'll have to make do with endwar and RA3 untill the distant future when i can afford to make a PC worthy of it.

Oh man, damn it! Stop making these games! I already poured an amazing amount of hours in to both the Medieval and Shogun games. Enough, I can't take it anymore! Ahhhh, who am I kidding.

Hope to see less bugs and a more polished game then the previous Total War installments.
