Damn, Microsoft press conference, stop announcing so much information! I only have two hands here! At the Microsoft event this morning, Harmonix revealed the full, initial song list -- a whopping 84 songs -- that will available in Rock Band 2 when the game ships this fall. In addition, it was also confirmed that all downloadable songs from the first game will completely transfer to the sequel. It’s nice to know I didn’t waste all that money getting my hands on all those Police songs! I'm probably going to be about the only one, but I was so freaking thrilled to hear that Bob Dylan being on Rock Band 2 was real. Tangled Up In Blue is one of my favorite songs of his as well, so I'm totally excited! Great job keeping up with stuff, Chad!

This is looking good, nice mix of every genre. Needs a little more metal, and punk and less emo (paramore/linkin park) but overall really good. Colony of Birchmen and Master Exploder are going to be fucking awesome. And we finally get some Dylan and Journey!
also, fuck FUCK bon jovi. here to ruin my rockband.... again. glad to see some Sonic Youth love.. good song too. and more Smashing Pumpkins. was hoping for R.E.M.'s Man on the Moon, but that's what DLC is for.

Cool, they definitely added some good metal tracks. Some of the other stuff leaves me boggled, but it's alright I suppose.
If the IGN article wasn't bluffing, then this on top of the 20 Free DLC AND the importable RB1 tracks... come this fall my 360 becomes nothing more than a Rock Band machine.

I am making a pledge, right here, right now. I WILL buy Rock Band 2. Compared to the setlist of the original, and GH4, this is blowin' my mind. So many great and favorite songs are on here, in addition to the DLC; it's just TOO much for me to deny.

My friends and I might just sell all our instruments except for one set.
No need for 8 sets of band equipment.
