E3 08: Rock Band 2 full track list revealed photo

Damn, Microsoft press conference, stop announcing so much information! I only have two hands here!

At the Microsoft event this morning, Harmonix revealed the full, initial song list -- a whopping 84 songs -- that will available in Rock Band 2 when the game ships this fall.

I'm still bitter that GH got Van Halen on board. This band exclusivity crap is going to ruin everything.

This list still looks great though

No Scorpions or Queen?

I'm a sad panda :(

At least Bon Jovi's inside and there's Eye of the Tiger. Oh, and Carry on Wayward Son is always a good tune to rock out to...

But still...No Scorpions or Queen?! :(

Interesting...The songs on the official list is about 90% of what I playtested at the studios not 3 weeks ago.

Apparently, stuff that was in the build a few weeks ago could be forthcoming DLC for RB2? If so, some killer tunes already in the pipe.

This is looking good, nice mix of every genre. Needs a little more metal, and punk and less emo (paramore/linkin park) but overall really good. Colony of Birchmen and Master Exploder are going to be fucking awesome. And we finally get some Dylan and Journey!

also, fuck FUCK bon jovi. here to ruin my rockband.... again. glad to see some Sonic Youth love.. good song too. and more Smashing Pumpkins. was hoping for R.E.M.'s Man on the Moon, but that's what DLC is for.

also... Float ON...? come on. there's so many better Modest Mouse songs.

If the IGN article wasn't bluffing, then this on top of the 20 Free DLC AND the importable RB1 tracks... come this fall my 360 becomes nothing more than a Rock Band machine.

...and I'm totally stoked for that.

Kinda surprised nothing by Nine Inch Nails off of The Slip isn't on there (yet).

I am making a pledge, right here, right now. I WILL buy Rock Band 2. Compared to the setlist of the original, and GH4, this is blowin' my mind. So many great and favorite songs are on here, in addition to the DLC; it's just TOO much for me to deny.
