I think they're trying to make us all hate the game so that when it finally comes out we'll all go in there expecting a huge pile of cow dung, so that when its just above average, it will seem really good just because we expected so little :p

I, being a trailer analyst, carefully analyzed the trailer above. I assume most of you are familiar with Duke Nukem, but I'll go ahead and pretend you aren't for this trailer explanation. In this trailer, Duke is shown on the top of a post-apocalyptic world as he strives to kill every pig-alien in existence. Wielding several large weapons, he easily chews them up and spits them out. Them, has sex with beautiful women. Great job guys.

Ha. What we're all failing to grasp is the fact that this isn't just a trailer. It's the Duke Nukem Theme song in its unadulterated entirety, which is something that I can honestly say I haven't heard. Just close your eyes and listen to the song, and all is better. Complaining about that is like being handed an apple and saying it's a horrible pomegranate.

I want guitar tabs including the sweet solo.

Either way, this has generated ALOT of talk about the game/series.

I got hooked on duke nuken on the N64, and I am still looking forward to their next game. I don't care how much people want to bash it.

I think 3D Realms (apogee) is overburdening themselves. they went from screwing around on one title for ten years to screwing around with four titles at the same time, hopefully we will see one of these four titles in this century.

it was a last minute trailer made to be ridiculous because of the hype E3 gets and the pressure people put on companies to release badass trailers for their games. They already said they didn't want to show a trailer at E3 because it's not what it used to be anymore, more for companies shoveling product with stuff like that.

The trailer is shit, of course; but what the hell are these games exactly?

I got excited thinking they might be revamped versions of the classic side-scrollers; but with the unfamiliar subtitles and no shots of the games, I don't have a clue.

The classics (as well as Manhattan Project) do need to be on XBLA alongside DN3D, though.

It was made by a crack team of four people. Three of these individuals were doing the music.

I found the video utterly funny. The only thing useful about it was the music. CHAIN REACTION! CRITICAL MASS! ETC!

I have to think now that these games are ones that need to help fund Duke Nukem Forever. It would be a laugh if those games didn't sell.

If this is an in-joke then it's a bad one, since half the people responding here don't know what to make of this. 3DRealms flushed their reputation away a long time ago so it wouldn't surprise many people (including myself) if this was a "real" trailer.
