Activision announced a few new titles during their not-E3 presentation earlier tonight. Among the new games was Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 Fusion. Not much was detailed and only a little teaser was released.
In the teaser, we see Iron Man, Hulk, Dare Devil, Captain America, The Thing, Wolverine, and Spider-Man show us their moves with the line, "Fuse the Power". So then, I gather we'll be able to fuse the different Marvel heroes powers together. Will we be able to fuse anyone's powers together? I want to fuse the Dare Devils power of blindness with the Hulk. Or, I know! How about fusing Wolverines claws with The Thing? Or fusing Iron Man's suit with Spider-Man! Oh God, the possibilities are ENDLESS!
Hit the jump for the teaser and let us know what powers you would fuse together yourself. I doubt any of you will be able to top my fusions.
[Side note: Main image is from Marvel Civil War and has nothing to do with the game. I needed a group shot of Marvel heroes. Also, I want a Marvel Zombies game!]
Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.

Meet the rest of the team
I remember reading before that the next Ultimate Alliance was going to deal with Civil War, or at least aspects to it. Maybe the post picture works after all?
After a quick Google search, Nick posted the rumor back in June.
Anyway, I really enjoyed the first UA and if the second is more of the same, I'll probably find it pretty enjoyable. Then again, just let me fuse Ms. Marvel and Deadpool and I'm damn sure I'll have a blast.
A) That trailer was garbage. If they wanted me to get excited they maybe could have shown me a hero or two that WASN'T in the first title (why the fuck do we always hafta play as the same damn heroes?).
Chances are I'll end up playing this game with the exact same team I played with in the first. That's not actually fun to me, btw.
B) I heard (on Dtoid) months a go that they are releasing some sort of Spider-Man vs. Marvel Zombies game at some point. Why it didn't make this press conference is beyond me.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

they better have something more substantial next time if Activision hopes to retain my interest.
I mean, I'm super excited about MUA2 since the original is still one of my favorite XBox 360 titles, but... trailer is fail. I need more stuff.
Oh well. Game Informer had a shit-ton of info.
hehe
