E3 08: Buzz! screens, trailer, and details

E3 08: Buzz! screens, trailer, and details screenshot

This summer Buzz! Master Quiz will make a very special appearance on the PSP and will include all the staples of the Sony series that we have come to know so well. The game will be packing over 3,000 questions on a plethora of topics extending from music, celebrities, TV all the way to science, and movies. There is also a new and fairly innovative multiplayer system to be explored with others close at hand.

The multiplayer will have three different modes. The first of which is called “Pass Around,” which consists of passing around a single PSP to people in the room while answering questions. The second mode is called “Fastest Finger,” and that utilizes the typical ad-hoc play for up to six players. The idea of the mode is to see who can answer questions correctly the quickest. The last mode is called “Quiz Host.” One person will also be able to ask the questions in the game and award or deduct points whenever they want. Stabbing in the back is obviously a necessity.

The single player mode is tied into a tiered trophy system. A series of 15 different quiz challenges will be offered with the opportunity to win bronze, silver, or gold medals depending on how well the player does. A few other goodies will be offered according to other skills, like answering questions quickly and correctly.

Hit the break to check out the reveal trailer for the game, and don’t forget to look below for the screens.

Lawl, dude got owned. Any chance of Question DLC? 3,000 questions is ok, but what about 3,001?...

We so need a new "You Don't Know Jack" game!

I actually really enjoyed that video and liked that song, anyone know what it is?

Doesn't look that bad but I don't think I want to pass my PSP around to my dirty drinking friends.....
