While it should be of no surprise to anyone that Activision announced Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2: Fusion last night, another announced Marvel seemingly came out of nowhere: X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Based on the upcoming film of the same name, the game follows the history and genesis of Wolverine. Activision didn't reveal much information about the title, other than that it will tie in with the film, and will feature the likeness of Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman.
The X-Men Origins: Wolverine game and film are slated to hit theaters in May 2009. Snicket.
