Progress on Dyscourse has been moving along, though perhaps a bit slowly. The Kickstarter campaign is about one-third funded with 18 days remaining. Hoping to spark some more interest in the project, developer Owlchemy Labs has announced the Indie Plane Crash, an additional story featuring ten independent game developers.

The ten personalities to be included are Tim Schafer (Psychonauts), Edmund McMillen (Super Meat Boy), Phil Tibitoski (Octodad), Alexander Bruce (Antichamber), Ron Carmel (World of Goo), Robin Hunicke (Journey), Ichiro Lambe (AaAaAA!), Adam Saltsman (Canabalt), Will Stallwood (Auditorium), and Rami Ismail (Ridiculous Fishing).

The best part about this addition is that it is neither a backer exclusive reward nor a stretch goal. Should Dycourse be funded, it will be included in all copies of the game.

Dyscourse is a survival game that's light on survival

Owchemy Labs’ Alex Schwartz is one of the bravest men I know. In the midst of GDC, perhaps the most inside baseball-heavy of all conventions, he told a member of the press that Dyscourse was a "survival game." Of c...more

While scoping out titles in the Indie MEGABOOTH at PAX East, I ran into long time Destructoid community member Andrew Benton, and we continued to look at games together. Dyscourse was on my list to play, so we both started up...more

Mekazoo has a cheeky rhyme for tricky gameplay

“When in doubt, switch them out.” Sage-like advice, really. That’s what Mekazoo’s creative director Jarrett Slavin had to tell me to do when I showed obvious struggles playing his demo. I’m no st...more

Slender: The Arrival is out on PS4 and Xbox One today

Do people still think Slenderman is scary? I don't really know; it seems like the well-dressed humanoid has faded from the collective consciousness lately. Maybe it's just that I don't visit meme websites any more. Slender: ...more
