Just ahead of its November 15 (November 18 in Europe) release date, DW7:XL has a final set of screenshots and a new video, this time showing off Pang De in action. Pang De debuted in Dynasty Warriors 5 but disappeared from the series soon after. His return has been warmly welcomed by fans.

Meet the rest of the team
My understanding is that the XL expansions only come with the new stuff (new characters, new modes, etc.) and that's it. You can play them standalone, but you won't have as much stuff, so the preferred way to pay the XL games is with a save and/or the game disc from the original so it adds all of the original stuff to the XL to form the complete Warriors game.
I think Tecmo Koei knows its audience by now, they know they have their fans and people will end up buying it at another time if they can't get it now. Companies stayed afloat doing crap like this before, with games that end up being a total rehash of the last one, so I'm not surprised by this, or any success they may find in doing it.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

Also, I give a damn. Will be buying this.
ohh can anyone explain to me again what's the difference between DW7 and DW7 Xtreme Legends(same with Samurai Warriors)
i read Xtreme Legends is basically the same one as the Vanilla version except with more modes etc..
though i read you need the orignal disc and save to access the story mode in the Xtreme LEgends version.
Sometime in December it is.

I love you.
