I think I saw the Gundam 2 mission packs on US and PAL PSN a couple of days ago, though they weren't on the front page.

Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 has had free mission DLC on the PSN for a few weeks now: I think there are 4 of them.
Yeah, I randomly found three additional free DW: Gundam 2 missions on Xbox Live a week or two ago. I didn't see any kind of advertisement about it, though.

Given Namco/Bandai's DLC history, particularly with, say, Naruto for PS3, we'll see more DLC missions that are technically just unlocks. Their "Storm Pack" DLCs have just been unlocks of characters that were NPC-only opponents before. All the movesets and animations were there, the Storm Packs just made them selectable, then adding an ultimate mission.
It's the same thing with these DWG2 DLCs, at least judging from the file size (about 100kb). At least it's all been free so far. As for additional content, I don't think any of the MS units seen in the game are unavailable for selection, so any new MS units would have to be added in. I hope they put in some of the units from Gundam 00 or SEED Astray. Exia and Astray Red Frame are some of the best-looking designs in years.

Sounds good. Still, I think it would be AMAZING if they had DLC that allowed you to play as an Evangelion.
