If you read our review of Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce, you'll know that Koei's attempt to freshen up its DW formula on the PSP was surprisingly quite successful. The ten thousand of you who bought the game based on our review will be thrilled to know that some new downloadable missions will be available for free very soon. Europe gets its DLC tomorrow, with America to follow at the start of June.
The Strikeforce Quest Pack #1 will contain five new missions, including a new boss fight againt an Ice Bi Xie. Those who have played the Japanese DLC before have noted that these missions aren't really much different from the main game, but it's all extra content and it's all free, so that's nothing to sniff at.
In addition, Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2, which we are yet to review because the man at Namco Bandai won't talk to me, will also be getting DLC very soon. Both Europe and North America will be getting it on May 28, and I believe it will also be free, although I haven't got a confirmation on that. It'll include two brand new missions, with an opportunity to find a whole shedload of Gundam parts.
If all of this stuff costs us nothing, that's definitely the sort of DLC I can get behind.
