If the Dynasty Warriors games have been lacking one desperately needed feature, it's some form of decent online play. The franchise has been screaming for robust online co-op or versus options for a long time now, and if the above video is anything to go by, it looks like those screams are finally about to be answered with Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2.
It's dfficult to exactly tell what is said in this developer interview, especially since the translator says this: "For the Europe and the US -- we might -- we are going to have a versus mode online." Is he saying that the game might have an online mode, or that it will have an online mode? This is why you don't have strange-sounding stuttering men doing translation on your videos!
Also strange how the interview implies that the Japanese version is to get DLC and the American/European version is to get online versus. Is that to say one territory is getting one thing exclusively while another gets something different?
A weird video interview indeed, as far as this cat is concerned. Still, more online play in my Dynasty Warriors is a step in the right direction, so hopefully we see some good come of it.

I was watching this video earlier trying to figure out why they got a translator almost as inept at the English language as the person he's translating.
I don't care about online, I can't play games online anyway. I just want to know that the gameplay is going to be solid, because I heard that the original game wasn't very good as far as DW games go.
I also want to know if I'll still be able to use Domon and Master Asia. And the other G Gundam pilots in general, since that was the best series due to how wonderfully offensive it was towards every single nation on earth that wasn't Japan.
THANK YOU. Fucking Gundam Seed was the most whiney bullshit Gundam series I've ever seen. It took the "BOOHOO I DON'T WANT TO FIGHT" from EvaNeoGen and upped it tenfold. Gundam 00 eclipses Seed in so many ways.
I like that they are planning to have 3x more Gundams in this version than the last...could do without any Gundam SEED though...also hope to see some RX-79(G) Ez-8 action in there too.
If they have an online mode, then that's great. If not, I'll still be buying it regardless, then again, I am a huge Warriors/Gundam fan.
I personally loved Gundam Seed and Seed Destiny, I thought it was a welcome change from Wing's Cold Blooded Murderers. However I will agree that 00 is better. I can't wait for the second season to start.
Hopefully Kira and Shin are playable in this game and I wouldn't mind seeing more pilots from Wing.
i'm loving the psycho gundam battle :) lets hope there a more roster of characters in the new one and I hope there no seed characters in this game since there a rip of the classics
