The reason why this is crazy news is because Dynasty Warriors Gundam is a collaboration between Koei and Namco Bandai. Namco Bandai is, of course, one of the worst nickel-and-dimers out there when it comes to downloadable content, and Koei isn't exactly known for ignoring a money maker. All that said, Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 is getting free DLC missions, which are currently available on Xbox Live and the PSN.
Since the game is not yet out on Western soil, these DLC missions are for Japanese accounts only. They are a selection of small extra missions which are listed by Koei Warriors as the following:
- １ - Consecutive MA boss battles on ground
- ２ - Consecutive MA boss battles in space
- A red-white MS battle for celebrating the (belated) New Year, on the Red team
- Same as above, but on the White team
- Space version of True Gundam Warrior, the hardest mission in the game
All of that nonsense probably means something to somebody.
Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 is slated for the West early this year, and we will of course have a review coming. Hopefully Koei and Scamco don't figure on adding any DLC charges during the translation process.

GameFAQs says this is coming to the US on March 24th, any idea if this is accurate? I can't wait for this shit. I honestly would not care if it was 80% the same game as the first one, because I needs me some Gundam.
I've heard Europe is getting a March release, so I am guessing that's very accurate.
Also, does DWG have any MS's from Gundam 00. I needs me some Exia.
I really want this game.
