I hope Dodrill gets a nice amount of money from this, because it looks absolutely amazing.
Plus, maybe if this does well, we can convince Epic to go back and hire him to help make a third Jazz Jackrabbit game.

The animation and combat looks fantastic, but the whole "dark and serious furry" thing is leaving me really conflicted.

This was my biggest problem with Odin Sphere actually. The juxtaposition of Vanillaware's trademarked borderline lolicon art style with a story tailor-made for melodramatic emo kids really irks me. Odin Sphere's gameplay was extremely tight, but the melodramatic story and characters are ultimately what made me stop playing that game before I finished it. I love the visuals this trailer is showing off, and the gameplay looks solid, but why the story and the furry-meets-Moe character design really rubs me the wrong way. Unlike Dragon Age: Origins' Morrigan, who I'm sure will rub me the right way.

What's the deal with the run animation? Everything else looks so great but that run just looks retarded. Like sent off to kindergarten with a football helmet and padded suit retarded.
