Dungeons & Dragons PC classics are on sale at GOG.com photo

Good Old Games continues to give you a good reason to say goodbye to your well-earned cash by having yet another great value sale. If Dungeons and Dragons-inspired PC classics are your thing, then you can buy one game and get another free up until the 27th of February.

Titles included in the promotion are both Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate 2, Icewind Dale and Icewind Dale 2, Dungeons and Dragons: Dragonshard, Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone, Neverwinter Nights: Diamond Edition and Planescape: Torment. Each title is $9.99 and you'll even get a free copy of The Temple of Elemental Evil!

Both the Balder's Gate and Icewind Dale games are PC RPG legends and with our own Joshua Derocher's guide to the best mod's for Planescape: Torment, now would be a great time to dig into these classic titles.

Wait, is ToEE the only one you get for free? I was going to buy 4 get 2 free, but this article is mildly confusing

The deal is buy 1, get 1 free (or buy 2, get 2) and you ALSO get Temple of Elemental Evil for free, no matter how many you buy.

While I love GOG, this isn't actually that incredible of a deal. On Amazon you can get both Baldur's Gate games (with expansions), both Icewind Dale games, ToEE, and Planetscape Torment in an anthology for 20 bucks: http://www.amazon.com/Dungeons-Dragons-Classic-Anthology-Pc/dp/B005JQ064A/ref=wl_it_dp_o_npd?ie=UTF8&coliid=IXVHKA7UFT0IO&colid=3R492TR6ILWEU

The weekend modders guides have really given me an itch to play Baldurs again and planescape for my first time. This is what i've been looking for!

I clicked on the offer and gog.com told me I already owned all the games. Maybe I should start actually playing the games.

@Shinobi: I didn't see anything come through I'm afraid, I do only have access to the main tips line. I got the GoG email on my personal account and pretty much just wrote the post then and there. If you've got PC specific tips to send through then email pc@destructoid.com That's the tips line I look at and will pick up news from. Keep sending them in buddy. :)

Beware the Amazon anthology. Apparently the way the games are "packed" means they install differently and in some cases minus an essential file needed to patch/mod the games(s). I.e. you won't be able to apply any of the mods in Joshua's modders guide blog post/bring the games up to date. Just an fyi.

Can't speak for the GoG collection though.
