Dungeon Siege III to have 'Treasures of the Sun' DLC
Details on a new batch of downloadable content for Dungeon Siege III have been revealed and it sounds fairly big. The "Treasures of the Sun" expansion will take players to the Anoai Desert where a lost treasure lies in wait, with hundreds of monsters in the way. In addition to the new story arc, it will add new monsters, abilities and loot as well as an enchanting system. It will also add the ability to reallocate points spent on proficiencies and talents, and that's where this DLC feels a little icky to me. It's a feature which is offered in many of the game's contemporaries and it seems weird that they wouldn't implement it in a title update for all players. Instead, it seems Square Enix intends to charge for the feature when the expansion releases in October on PSN, XBLA and PC for $9.99. Did you know? Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)That's great, I like DS3. The story is not as epic and detailed as Obsidian's usual standard, but it is a fun game and very polished. I've been waiting for some DLC news cause my girlfriend and I have a blast playing this together but the stories and missions between characters are so similar. I wonder what the chances are of getting some kind of randomized dungeons eventually instead of the Final Fantasy XIII-esque "shoe string" maps. Also, more classes. I had a lot of fun with the game, but I sold it right after I finished it. If I knew there was some cool DLC coming down the pipeline, I might have actually held on to it. Oh well, I guess. It was okay, but I'm pretty much done with it at this point. It's too bad they decided to make a fairly standard feature into something you need to pay for. How about they release a patch to fix the lack of facial animations? The thousand yard stares from every character kind of undercut the drama. I really, really enjoyed this game and didn't expect to love it so much. Can't wait for the DLC - they have my money day one. 6:30 PM on 06.18.2013 Black Ops II nails down July release for Vengeance DLCFollowing Revolution and Uprising, Call of Duty: Black Ops II will get its third downloadable content pack starting July 2, 2013 on Xbox 360.
