Dungeon Defenders is the bargain in the May Hurray Bundle

To be fair, many of the previous Indie Royale Bundles have left me scratching my head when I see the videogames they include. Most haven't appeared on Steam or received a lot of press coverage, so it was a big surprise to see Dungeon Defenders included in the new May Hurray Indie Bundle

Steam says I've ploughed 32 hours into playing Dungeon Defenders (okay, it doesn't say "ploughed" but it would be cool if it did) which doesn't surprise me. It's blend of tower defense, loot lust, plentiful DLC and four-player co-op has kept the game really fresh all the way into 2012.

Of course, there's other games included in the bundle too: puzzler Containment and the retro action titles Brainpipe, Data Jammers, and Weird Worlds, plus three videogame soundtracks. Pay more than $7 and you'll get a free album by Chiptune stalwarts Starscream. All told, $7 is great value for Dungeon Defenders alone so that makes this Indie Royale Bundle an instant purchase.
