i thought it was supposed to but the vita software FUCKING BLOWS right now, so i doubt it can. wtb cfw
If Sony had spent just a few minutes of their E3 presser on the Vita, I would feel far better about it's fate. But the Vita silence was deafening in terms of where the Vita currently stands in terms of Sony's priorities, apparently somewhere after letting David Cag carry on about Ellen Paige's dead eye stare.
I was going to buy a Vita when I saw the Zelda edition 3DS at a very good price and went for it instead...looks like I made the right choice
I think this is a good thing since they aren't giving support to the console version at all. They have stated they will give full support to PC only. Sometimes I wonder why they bothered to release the damn game on consoles to begin with.
They probably realized how big of a financial failure the Vita would be for them and passed up on it.
Yeah, honestly I agree with Bluejuan. The lack of support they gave on the consoles would have probably translated to a lack of support on the Vita.
Agreed with joe and blue. Screw these guys considering they straight out lied about console support AFTER they released the game and took the cash.
As if this was not enough, they blatantly ignored all request for info about this for months, tried to cash in on us AGAIN, releasing a $5 single map dlc straight implying it had content it did not.
To date they have not so much as said sorry. Seriously, screw these guys.

........deep breath.......vita......Sony.......sort it fucking out.....now or this wonderful little machine will die.
Regarding the lack of console support:
a) The base game is, for $15, a freaking steal. It has a ton of content and if you are complaining that you somehow got ripped off you are full of it. I put in 60 hours on this game before any of the DLC even came out.
b) Blame Sony/MS. Valve will let them update their game any time they like and the PC version sometimes gets 2-3 updates a week (mostly patches/tweaks). There is no certification process for them to go through, and unlike PSN/XBLA they are not forced to pay to patch their game or give free DLC.
c) Size limits. XBLA has a 2GB size limit. The PC version of DD has grown to 9.5GB. I don't think they could give you all the DLC anyway unless they moved it off XBLA.
Anyway, just because the PC version got extra love doesn't mean you guys got ripped off. I can understand the frustration, though. I'd be annoyed, too, if I saw the other versions getting a lot more content. This is really a matter of the differences between the platforms, though; in this case the PC's open nature makes it much easier to update and expand a game.

well.. that's too bad.. i bought a 4 pack of the steam version before it came out.. the vita version was the only other version i cared about, cause the android version feels goofy, and i wanted to play it on the go.. welp, just saves me money, i guess..
VITA is PS Certified device, so if the game was ported over to PS Suite, it would run on VITA (as well as other Certified devices).

Honestly, they are starting to slow down with DunDef.
Trendy has done an amazing job with listening and sorting out who to listen to when it comes to their fans, and their interactions with them is something unheard of in the game industry. However, after the eternia shards and the last hero they have in the works, I have a feeling that DunDef will only see holiday support and Trendy will be moving on, whcih is fine, because I want to see what they can do next.
I wasn't wanting to get a vita anyways. I'd of probably just bought the game to support the company more, rather than buy the vita, which is starting to look as supported as the Move.
