Duke Nukem kills some clones in his new DLC photo

Dr. Proton has been busy cloning Duke from within Area-51 (where else?) and, of course, it's up to Duke to stop the Dukes, because only he can stop himself. I can't help but smile at the thought of cloning Duke Nukem within DLC. It's so meta!

If you play Duke Nukem for the parody, it looks like you'll be getting your monies worth at $9.99/800ms points. It should be available across all platforms this tuesday.

Duke Nukem vs. Duke Nukem clones: because its cheaper to just create bots from the multiplayer component... for $10. Nein, danke.

If one Duke can manage to kill hundreds of other Dukes that are exact copies of himself, does that mean that Duke as a character is a badass or in fact a pussy?

The things I ponder.

I'm looking forward to this, regardless of what you though about DNF's campaign, this is the first thing we see that is unrelated to "3D Realms Vision" that Randy went on about all the time and instead something new, also, the Terminator knockoffs from the 2001 build of DNF is back, and I freakin' loved those.

I re-purchased DNF today to get this on release, hopefully it's fun. If not, well then I guess I'll just sell my copy of the game again.

YOU JUST BLEW MY MIND MAN lol

If these are levels done by Gearbox, vs recycle 3DRealms crap, they might actually be good. Though the base game is kinda bleh so... :/

It was never said that the clones were up to Dukes standards or even 100% accurate now was there?

If this is 100% developed by Gearbox and not stuff that had been previously planned by 3D Realms, I will buy it.

Even if it does cost 80 cents more than I paid for the game itself lol

I'm more in love with the IDEA of Duke.

Is this even using the same engine? It looks a little better... I think.

I feel the same way as Jinx 01. While I did enjoy the main game (I liked it; I didn't think it was good), I will not be buying this DLC unless it is 100% Gearbox's work. I believe that they are fully capable of making a good Duke Nukem game.

Serious Sam 3 is what Duke Nukem Forever should of been /thread

@ Mark Mann: Considering that Duke Nukem 3D and the first Serious Sam are largely different games, and by no means did DN ever emphasize crowding you in with enemies and making you claw through whole armies like SS does... no, you can take your thread elsewhere. The games are very dissimilar, and it's downright ridiculous for you to claim otherwise. A very good day to you, sir.

They may well have tweaked the mechanics etc. as well. Aren't there new weapons and stuff in it, too?

Maybe some gameplay improvements will get patched into the base game as well. Really wanted to like this game, but the demo was soooo bad.

I think if Gearbox does their own Duke game from scratch it could be awesome, though. They really got humor right in Borderlands.

Will this help Duke finally become self aware of his douchiness? Or will his just rattle off cliched quips about how his new enemies cool and good-looking?

Dr. Proton? I don't own this game but anyone who knows Dr. Proton knows that this DLC will probably raise some eyebrows, in a good way. Really interested to see what he's been up to for 20 years.

As has already been mentioned, this DLC costs more than the game itself now. I passed up a copy at Gamestop this afternoon for $8.09. Picking up that copy of Iron Man that I know I'll never play just seemed like the better investment.
