Meh, not interested. I'm not expecting more than a generic FPS in terms of gameplay, and I certainly don't expect a tale worthy of Shakespeare to keep me interested, so I think I'll pass.
Some of the previews have looked promising - in that it looks like a solid enough FPS but is funny as hell.
I am very skeptical of Duke Nukem Forever and I love Duke Nukem 3D and it is an old FPS you can still get into because I have come to the realization that the thing that made Duke Nukem 3D great was the fantastic level design.
Old School FPS games treated every level like a Zelda Dungeon, there were always upwards of 20 or more of them and Duke Nukem 3D had the best of them all. Better than Doom, Quake, Marathon, Blood and Unreal.
So to be very honest and blunt the only thing that could reassure me that Duke Nukem Forever will live up to its name is if I see a single player level plan.
