@Nick - So basicly... Your news was as important as a horrible comment... WIN!
Does anyone remember the long awaited flop that was Daikatana?
Wasn't that a game made by John Romero or something in like 1996? I remember it being horrid...

Duke Nukem Forever screen might look good if it wasn't so small and blurry
3D Realms is looking for level designers, and have posted a "help wanted" ad on their official Web site. No big deal, right? Wait, what's that? Oh, man, I almost missed it. It's so small -- a Duke Nukem Forever image? I don't know what the problem is, but someone needs to tell 3D Realms that this is not the way to promote a game that's been in development for so long that it's become an industry joke. High-res images or artwork only, thanks. This is not the first time we've seen an itty-bitty Duke Nukem Forever screenshot pop up in the unlikeliest of places; a tiny Pig Cop showed up in another job listing awhile back. If there's actually a game, guys, it's time to deliver the goods. Actually showing us some gameplay on The Jace Hall Show was a step in the right direction, but it's screenshot time. And demo time. And release time. Let's go. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)@Sam - 12 yrs (lol) seriously.
@Nick - So basicly... Your news was as important as a horrible comment... WIN! I'd actually like to get a job like that, it would be like the time George Constanza got to work for Krueger Industries. Wow really? I don't even know what to make of any of this since I've seen it. These pictures are small and in horrible quality, it's almost like they don't want anyone to see them. Then the video that DOES exist that was on that one web show was very brief, I mean it just looked like a mod for Prey. You know what's going to be real funny is when this game is finally released and it turns out to just be a remake of Duke Nukem 3D... crap I hope I didn't jinx it! Everytime I hear Duke Nukem Forever all I can think of it another Daikatana situation.
Does anyone remember the long awaited flop that was Daikatana? Lol, I'm so glad I never looked forward to Daikatana, that game was horrible garbage. I remember playing the demo on PC when it first released and then deleting it 5 - 10 minutes after. @Angels
Wasn't that a game made by John Romero or something in like 1996? I remember it being horrid... Everyone who joins the development team for Forever must quit after seeing how little progress it's made. The tiny screenshots shouldnt annoy you as much as the fact that they are hiring level designers for a game thats been in production this long. It's never coming out. They better write a tome-sized book about the production process when they ever release the game. Just saying... Oh fuck off, Dephect. You know damn well that this is news to the internets. Stop being a tit. If you want to blame something, blame Duke's rabbid, totally unjustified fanbase. If this game ever comes out I expect it to be a 400 hour experience on a single playthrough. Anything less wont justify the development time. I still think Duke would have sounded cooler if he said "I can either kick ass or chew bubble gum... And it looks like I'm all outta gum."
AMIRITE?! No matter how good this game is, it will be a disappointment. 12 years in development would have to be the most epic shit ever, and I don't see that happening. 6:45 PM on 03.15.2013 Duke's back, baby!
