Apogee Software is bringing Duke Nukem: Critical Mass to the Nintendo DS, and I'm seriously wondering if anybody reading this right now is buying it. I didn't even know this was still happening until I saw the trailer this morning and ... well ... it looks how I'd expect it to look.
Anyway, show of hands. Is anybody here actually planning to buy Duke Nukem: Critical Mass? I am finding it hard to imagine somebody saying yes and meaning it.

I'm just happy I saw an Apogee software logo, even if it turns out to be a crappy game. As strange of logic as that is, it's been so long since I've seen that logo. :)
Oh God, I just spent the last hour almost going through old Apogee and DOS games videos after clicking the Wacky Wheels link. Me and my brother used to have so much fun with that game. Also, holy shit the music was really good too, I never noticed when I was a kid. Every sound and sight in the entire game brings back so many memories. Pressing the F1-F8 keys to make the devil appear and shake his ass in front of your opponent :D The sound when you went underwater accidentally and the submarine scope came up.....
Oooohh, the nostalgia.....That apogee logo does things to me.
The lower screen makes it shit. It's one of those games that doesn't know how to use the touch screen so they just pan new buttons to it. What I would have done, I would have assigned it to different objects, a more inventory feel. You have x-ray, and other 3 options. select x-ray and the lower screen turns into a radar. What they did here? totally what they did with Transformers DS, having the transform button on screen was shit.

Looks terrible!
But the game will...
Still, 12? I'd never thought I'd see the day Duke with something less then a mature rating.
wow that brings back memories.
memories of only the GREATEST GAME EVER MADE.
i'd be a fool NOT to buy 3 copies
And where was the goddamn Apogee theme tune!?
My god, a fellow Wacky Wheels fan. I salute you, good sir.
