Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers has been quite the money maker for Wizards of the Coast, and I don't see that stopping any time soon. Especially not now that the series is coming to iPad -- in addition to PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, and Steam -- this summer.

The latest installment, Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013, will include ten new decks, further puzzle challenges, optional manual mana tapping, and a multiplayer mode called Planechase. Intended for MTG regulars, this mode modifies game rules using oversized cards based on specific Planes.

There's so much promise for board and card games on iPad, now more than ever with the sexy resolution of the new model, so it's good to see such an oft-requested game like this come to iOS.

Calvino Noir is a European, smoky, noir-ish stealth game

I think I've probably made it clear that I like a good stealth game and thankfully I had the chance to try out the lovely-looking Calvino Noir at EGX. Set in post-war Austria (I forgot to ask which war... whoops), players con...more
