Also,I hope I wasnt the only one that wasted 15 minutes trying to cut the flower from the top.
I just wish they left in detailed options like turning off the Wiimote speaker or manually adjusting the pointer settings (instead of just centering). It's also stupid that they don't let you change the HUD till an hour or two in.
Overall, one of the most accurate and dependable motion control games I have played though.
Press the home button at anytime and go to the bottom where it is says "Wii Remote settings" to turn the volume off just keep hitting the minus button until it goes silent.
To adjust the pointer settings go the start up screen and click on the "Wii Options" button in the far left corner. From there go to "Wii Settings", and then go to the 2nd page and click "Sensor bar" once there click on "sensitivity" and you can adjust it to what you like.
@Scissors
Skyward Sword doesn't use the IR sensor for aiming. Other than pointing at the screen for calibration, everything's done via Motion Plus. You could aim outside the screen and it'll still pick up.
That's the point of this video flying over the heads of the majority of commentors. Or, more likely, these commentors got the point but felt inferior for their lack of physical prowess and so resorted to sarcasm.
Come on internet, bring me a proper whack-job. I'm wishing on a star...
Even if I wasn't afraid of landing on my head doing a flip... I wouldn't do it in the living room, and not with that damn Wiimote/Nunchuck wire there. I tip my hat to you crazy man.
On a related note...
Skyward Sword controls are amazing, just trashed the brilliant 4th dungeon boss right now.
And then I got the beetle. Figured it out quickly after that.
Mattrod288, that fight isn't hard at all. When he rushes in, start swinging like crazy.
You'll interrupt his charges.
