Does this mean the Rick Roll is finally dead? Also, it may just be me, but I think he is lip-syncing ...
Right now, my house is filling up with the delicious scent of Turkey and other yummy treats. Today is Thanksgiving in America and many families are settling in to be with family and enjoy some great food.
Today is also a day where we reflect on what we are thankful for. Whether you’re thankful for videogames, the Internet, family, friends, llamas or whatever, tell us what you’re thankful for. Even if you don't celebrate this holiday, let us know what's on your mind.
By the way, good luck to all of you crazy Black Friday shoppers this year.
Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Okay, why does the mainstream media find things "cool" like years after they are relevant? It's like a clueless parent...
I'm thankful that I'm not a homeless person out on the street, and I have my DS.
Also Hamza you can sexually harass me. Zero won't mind. :P
I'm also thankful for all of you in the community. I miss everyone from PAX and hope I get to meet more of you next year at PAX 09.
Oh, and I'm thankful for the people that let me sexually harass them.
Oh, and sexy zombie raep tiems! :D
Well, I am thankful EA began to stop being a dickhead and began to try being awesome.
I am thankful for my my DS, my game library, having a fucking rad sister buying me Ocarina of Time on ebay, my health, assisting ComicCon08 and my familuy and friends.
I already ate my turkey dinner so I'm spending thanksgiving with the kids from gekkoukan high (persona 3)
You would've been thankful for Denny's right?
:P
@ DTOID
I'm thankful we have ALMOST seen the last of George Bush!!!! amirite? Yeah, I know I am.
I'm thankful for Valve, without whom gaming would be a whole lot less meaningful to me. Half-Life gives me something to care about, and TF2 and L4D give me things to be addicted to. They make me happy.
I'm not american so I don't really celebrate thanksgiving.
But I'm thankful for making it out of college, my videogame collection. and for the hilarious D-toid rape stories.
Oh yah, and my family and the fooooood I ate.
Mmmmm.
It is especially tough where I live (Chicago) since we have one of the highest unemployment rates in the country.
To everyone out there who has to work tomorrow (raises hand) or who had to work today, consider yourself lucky and do what you can in your community to help out your neighbors, it's going to be a rough holiday season for a lot of people.
I'm thankful for L4D and the 360 and the ds and pong.
I'm also thankful for more Futurama and Tina Fey's Sarah Palin impersonation.
AnywhoO, I am thankful that my gran [Read: unlucky person to raise me up since 15yr old] is still alive to see this xmas (probabaly her last).
Also, I'm one of the few people who actually like that song. It never has bothered me.
Also thankful that God has provided my family with finances and a decent apartment while living abroad, we've been blessed a lot this year.
Also, thankful for Dtoid, being a part of a community to get info on games is a lot more fun than hitting up a magazine or IGN like the old days. You guys are fun.

NXE: Sweet!
Gears of Wars 2: Awesome!
Fallout 3: So far, meh...
Fable 2: I'm gonna try it out tomorrow.
1) My rock solid PS3 for providing many hours of excellent entertainment.
2) Fallout 3
3) Rock Band 2
4) Not being a willing slave to a non-existent sky god who takes credit for my hard work and sacrifice.
He was lip-syncing, so it doesn't count.
And what I'm thankful for is too sappy to be listed in Dtoid, but will say that I'm not thankful for console fanboys.
In addition to being all around amazing, she also not only tolerates my gaming habit, but she embraces it.
She's a keeper, for sure.
