Dtoid TV Weekend: Fun for the whole family

More live gaming goodness for your eye and ear holes

Time to start another weekend of live content on Dtoid TV. We're kicking things off right now with a Saturday Morning Hangover where we'll be checking out the new beat-em-up Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds right about the time our review hits the page. That's called "synergy," people.

But that's just the tip. Brett and Cait will be playing the delightfully camp Earth Defense Force 2017, while Phil keeps plugging away at Devil May Cry 4 as he works on his full series run. And you're not going to want to miss Global Game Jam 2013 keynote speaker and indie designer Erin Robinson on Sup, Holmes? either.

Check out our full schedule for the weekend:

All times are Pacific

SATURDAY

10am - Saturday Morning Hangover
The gang teams up to check out the newly released Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds. And, as ever, Xbox Indie demos and a visit to Dafoeverse.

[Ease the pain from the night before with a little schadenfreude brought to you by Destructoid's Conrad Zimmerman, Jordan Devore and the lovely Katrina.]
12pm - Weekend Escape
Brett and Cait will be killing bugs (and bugging each other) in Earth Defense Force 2017.

[Hang out with Destructoid Contributors Brett Zeidler and Caitlin Cooke as they play through entire games with a focus on co-op. It's a safe bet that Caitlin is probably going to get mad at Brett for everything at some point.]
4pm - Chill with Phil
Phil continues his epic journey through the entire Devil May Cry series. Every DmC game, full playthroughs of each one, live. Today Phil continues Devil May Cry 4.

[Philanthr0py hosts this relaxed show in which he performs full game (and series) playthroughs.]
8pm - Substituted Reality
Kill off your Saturday, and possibly a few brain cells, while AwDamn gets his social on.

[Destructoid's only PC-exclusive gaming show, Substituted Reality showcases a wide variety of games with a particular focus on first-person shooters. Hosted by the lovely, off-beat, AwDamn.]

SUNDAY

1pm - Sup, Holmes?
Come hang out and join in on the conversation as Jonathan Holmes interviews amazing people from all sides of the gaming industry. This week, he will be joined by Erin Robinson, designer of Gravity Ghost.

[Join Destructoid's most lovable Associate Editor, Jonathan Holmes, for interviews with his friends in the game industry. Participate in the live chat and get your questions answered]

3pm - Retroactive
Crux will continue the quest of Sir Daniel Fortesque and save the kingdom of Gallowmere in the PSOne classic MediEvil.

[On Retroactive, join Dr. Crux as he plays through a variety of retro classics. Come for the gameplay, stay for the snarky banter. Dr. Crux is not a medical doctor.]

6pm - Rad Show: Get There!
The guys will venture into unfamiliar territory by trying to keep a low profile in Splinter Cell: Conviction.

[Starring Johnny Luchador, Super Fantastic Videogame Rad Show: Get There! takes a lighthearted approach to gaming, with the guys usually focusing more on breaking games for ridiculous results than accomplishing feats of skill.]
8pm - Substituted Reality
Awdamn will help you finish your weekend off right as he plays another of those newfangled digital entertainments.

[Destructoid's only PC-exclusive gaming show, Substituted Reality showcases a wide variety of games with a particular focus on first-person shooters. Hosted by the lovely, off-beat, AwDamn.]
