Dtoid (the show) week 6: Donkey Kong Returns TO THE RAVE
We up and done did another 3 episodes of the Destructoid (the show). We started off the week weird and low key with an episode from the future, and by Friday, we had slowly lost our minds with a Sesame Street-inspired dance party. The better the videogame news got throughout the week, the more happy we got, culminating in a DONKEY KONG COUNTRY RETURNS ZOMG jammy jam of epic (if not short lived) proportions. There were a lot of other big stories this week, like the Portal 2 delay, the Gears of War Kinect rumor, Rockman Online videos, Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 announcements, Review Recap Attack with Jim Sterling, and much, much more. It's all there for you in this handy weekly recap, waiting for you below. Enjoy!

Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)Jim should have a cameo in every video on Destructoid if possible. Then again so should the ravishing, debonair Jonathan Holmes. The creepiness of this post is unintended. It's just the avatar. couldn't the jimquisition turn into a weekly thing on the destructoid show? just a thought, because it's a shame not to have more jim on the show. how bout a bit where jon and jim do a bit of back and forth? those are always good, especially when jonathan does his birdie voice at jim, that shit's hilarious. great show, it's my favorite thing to view here on dtoid. 9:00 PM on 06.17.2013 Nintendo 3DS was the best-selling console in MayThe Nintendo 3DS was the best-selling piece of gaming hardware in the United States during May, according to the NPD's monthly report. 12:09 AM on 06.12.2013 Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze isn't an ICEE flavor"What's Retro working on? A new Metroid? Zelda Wii U? Something entirely original?" Those were the questions prior to E3. Turns out the secret project was yet another Donkey Kong Country sequel. Don't get me wrong! Returns is friggin' amazing and Tropical Freeze is just as fun so far. I simply think Retro has so much more potential. Never mind that, though. Tropical Freeze... it's pretty bangin'.
