I've seen this exact design before. Years ago. Is Dtoid 'partnering' with the original designer of this shirt?

Aren't these also the Japanese names for the bosses? I mean, different characters have them.. but, as a group, they're the same names.
Still, I guess that affects the ordering. Also, M. actually stands for something in Japan... (Mike- thus the changes).

As you can see from the comments; even gamers don't get the reference. That's not a good thing. That means this design fails. Anyone who says otherwise is trying to be a hipster and is probably thinking 'but it's ironic!' and deserves to be slapped.

@dtomek: Thank you, good sir. I agree with you an would also not rock this shirt. I prefer a touch of subtlety to my game shirts(but not so much that it becomes hipster, as I stated before)

Anyway, The point being, if someone indeed designed the shirt, and submitted it, they should be payed for it. If someone outside of Destructoid internal staff designed or thought up this design and submitted it... why should D-toid reap all the profits of the shirt, when the same dude could just go to a printing place and sell it that way.

Also, to be honest, destructoid isnt really all that known for being a great supporter of the fighting game community. I think you guys would have better luck selling this at evo, because those people wear anything that has something to do with their genre.
