Finally, we'll be able to sample the majesty of churro sundaes.
If I didn't have midterms, and was actually a fun person, I could've gone to the zoo, but alas, I'm a loser :(

Dtoid meetups for the month of May
Hey Destructoid! No Apparent Reason Parties -- NARPs for short -- are a long standing tradition here at Destructoid. NARPs are parties hosted by Dtoiders for Dtoiders and everyone is welcome to attend a party. It's about playing games and interacting with other people all in the name of having a good time. According to Jonathan Coulton, the month of May brings interesting outdoor recreational activities. In the same spirit of the month, Dtoid Regional Groups from all over the world are making plans to meetup at various events for gaming, movies, and all around great times. As a community, Dtoid just keeps growing, as the community is hoping to reintroduce two new groups, Dtoid Southeast and Dtoid Toronto. Read on below to see what NARPs are happening in the Midwest, New York, Australia and elsewhere! Who: Dtoid Australia - FooLiz This month, members of Dtoid Australia will be going to the usual Mana Bar trivia nights, as well as having a movie night at the house of BLiz in honor of Zombie Awareness month. However, they will also be attending a Miss Burlesque show which seems awesome! Be sure to follow Dtoid Australia on Twitter and Facebook as well as check out the Google group for details of these events and much more! Who: Dtoid New York - Powerglove Dtoid New York is headed to Blipfest 2011! The guys in DtoidNY call Blipfest one of the largest gatherings of the year, and this year is extra special. For the first time, Dtoider Zen Albatross will be performing during the festival, so you should totally go out and support him! More information can be found in the emailer, so check it out! Who: Dtoid San Francisco - Tactix DtoidSF has a lot of events planned, from a karaoke night, to the monthly Super Nerd Night, as well Fanimecon at the end of this month. Who: Dtoid New England - Senisan On Saturday, at Dtoider HeyRicochet's house, members of DtoidNE will be gathering for a night of retro goodness! From a MAME cabinet to systems on 4 different TV's, this event will be a blast! Be sure to follow Dtoid New England on their Google group, Youtube, and Flickr!! Who: Dtoid Midwest - Jon Bloodspray It may not technically be in May, but this is one epic NARP and one that needs planning. In June, Jon Bloodspray will be hosting the Midwest NARP 2011. Word on the blog-o-sphere is that the NARP last year was too epic for words. So if you live in the area, or even just want to fly out to visit, let them know! Make sure to join the Google group and Facebook group for more info! And check out the other goings on in this forum thread. Who: Dtoid Baltimore/DC - Hitogoroshi The month of May brings the semi-annual BaltiNARP at Procyon's house. This gathering will boast at least 7 TV's and monitors with lost of classic games. Changston might even be on hand with some of his amazing cooking! Also, join the Baltimore/DC Google Group as well as a blog dedicated to gatherings!! Who: Dtoid Europe - Hollie Bennett, mistic It's still two months away, but you can never start planning too early in advance! Dtoid Europe's annual EuroNARP will be here before you know it! Finally, we'll be able to sample the majesty of churro sundaes. Tactix is too modest to mention this, but the DtoidSF karaoke party is to celebrate him getting his PhD! You should all congratulate Dr. Tactix on his fresh new title! Jesse is too modest to mention this, but the DtoidSF karaoke party is to celebrate him getting his PhD! If I didn't have midterms, and was actually a fun person, I could've gone to the zoo, but alas, I'm a loser :( Part of me really wants to hit up one of these NARPs one of these days. I recently moved to RI with only a few friends in the area... being that this is one of my most visited sites, it might be cool to meet new like minded people. Unfortunately, I have plans this weekend... I guess there's always next time. 2:30 AM on 05.21.2013 To the depths and back in Fallout: Brotherhood of SteelJordan and I are pushing further in our play of the tragically existent Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. 3:30 PM on 05.16.2013 Watch the worst Fallout game ever madeJordan and I have started a new game in our Couch Campaign, and it's one that I have been excited to play since we first began talking about the project. As a huge fan of the Fallout franchise and a lover of top-down, exploration shoot-em-up games, the pairing of the two could have been glorious. And Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel is, provided you think train wrecks can be glorious.
