[Update] We're done with Halo: Reach! We're now playing Minecraft on the Destructoid server!
The first downloadable content pack for Halo: Reach hits on November 30 for 800 MS Points but we have it now at the Destructoid offices! Yes, that's right! We have it early and we're going to be streaming the new maps for you live so join us!
We'll be checking out the three new maps "Tempest," "Anchor 9," and "Breakpoint" until 3PM Pacific/6PM Eastern and see if the new content will be really worth it. Do note that as the maps aren't out to the public yet, so the matchmaking will take longer than usual to find games.
Will you be able to get any games at all on the new maps? The DLC playlist isnt out yet and therefore your going to need a full lobby of people in matchmaking who also have it and as it isnt out yet there is a very slim chance of this happening. Am I missing something here
Truth be told I am now a Call of Duty man. During Halo 1 and 2's reign, I could never be bothered with any other shooters. Halo 3 waned my interest, and Reach was fun for a few weeks, but really didn't hold me after that. I loved the beta, but there's something about Reach that prevents me from playing it often.
