Right when you begin to forget there even was a Nintendo DS Lite it comes back and reminds you of its existence with its new $99 price point. Nintendo says that the new $99 price will be effective starting June 5th. When your little kid brother asks for a 3DS you can just get him one of these and a pair of movie theater 3D glasses. The little dude won't know the difference and you'll end up with $150 more in your wallet.
Some Mario games also get new packaging in June, as shown in the image above. Nintendo says that six Mario games will get red packaging, which is supposed to make them easier to find in stores. Here's the games that will get the Mario-red packaging: New Super Mario Bros., Mario Kart DS, Super Mario 64 DS, Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story, Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem! and Mario Party DS.
