I was thinking the same thing, though '3Driver' perhaps. The hyphen makes it look like a rafting game.

Driver 3D announced for 3DS as well
Now, I'm going to have to claim some level of ignorance here. I've never played a Driver game. So, I can't tell whether or not these screenshots for the just-announced 3DS iteration of the series are consistent with the rest of the run. I do, however, know that I really dig the style in the art pieces shown here. I'm a sucker for things which feel like a cross between cinematic and graphic novel approaches. I also know that I'm grateful they didn't try and cram some hackneyed use of the term "3D" into the name of the game. Of course, the title "Driver 3D" is still tentative. There's still time for them to offend my eyes. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)Not the same. 1 & 2 were the ones I played, finished them both way way back when. From memory they had a more GTA San Andreas style look to them, these shots look a lot like "Juiced" I think, that is a bad thing.... I loved Driver 1 because it was like a vintage 70s police/car chase film. This new one looks like it could be ok, but the world has enough GTA looking things - the period feel of the first game is original. It was fun bat man I loved just getting into trouble in that game. The police chases were fun as hell. <.< >.> ANd yeah some tiems I stop at the lights duging the chases to be an ass. XD Yet again, this was announced at E3. It was on the huge list of 3DS games that was announced then. Its the first time we have seen any screens for it though! And this is exactly why I am patient about games these days .... When my options are buy the game now for $50-60 and spend an additional $20-30 on DLC for a total of $70-90. Or wait for them to bring out a game of the year or some comprehensive edition a few months down the road with all the DLC for ~$50. got a real burnout flavor that i'm digging. a big fan of the first 2 drivers, i can't wait to see how this and the console version play out. @ Chack

Mega Man looks amazing on the 3DSA lot of people are betting on Super Smash Bros. on the Wii U to be a big system seller. The more I see of the 3DS version of the game, the less confident I am in that. Depending on how different the two versions are, Nintend...
