Quantcast

In my mind, the idea of going for Halloween as the Big Daddy from BioShock seems really, really cool. Of course, people would stare and freak out over your costume, and you'd have a good shot at winning some costume contests. Then I remember that it's hot as hell in Miami and that I might actually die inside the costume while trying to win a contest with it. Ok, plan aborted.

For those of you who reside in cooler climates, this Big Daddy costume is actually on eBay for a fairly reasonable starting bid of $250. The seller mentions that he won two contests with it, but the only downer is that it cannot be shipped, so local pickup only. It's in Brick, new Jersey-- perhaps it's time for some lucky guy to take a road trip?

[Update -- this seller will ship the costume after all -- check out the auction listing for the details.]

[Thanks, Nintendoll!]

Halloween is no longer scary. Well, except for the parents of teenage daughters who go out looking like a cross of a stripper and a...I guess anything really. Not that I'm complaining at all haha.

Oh and if I was wasted and walking home from a party and I saw that costume, I'd likely shit myself and/or find myself a wrench.

That would be cool if it was free and made bigger so I could wear it. I'm 6'6...that means halloween just isn't fun for me

How does he carry a bag for candy though?! Does he just ask parents to insert candy through his breath holes? That'd be awesome.

Near the beginning of the year, I actually had aspirations of doing the same thing. I made a plan for it, but it was too complex to go with it.
Too bad it's in New Jersey, I would have bought this for 250 clams. I wanted to mope around at work with this on, slowly walking thru the different rooms.
